WENDIE'S WIZARDS TUTORIAL SERVICE
IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION

LENGTH OF COURSE:
4 WEEKS/2 HRS. 2 VISITS PER WEEK

2 HOUR SESSIONS

MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

DESCRIPTION OF CLASS:
Students will be given one 2 hour session of reading, (a pretest will be given) which includes learning the tips for strategies locating the answer.  
  This will also involve some computer time.  Vocabulary will be introduced another day for 2 hours. Math instructions will be for 2 hours, a pretest will be given, the basics of math will be introduced first, then homework from class will be reviewed.

OBJECTIVES:
Students will learn how to word attack when reading and use tips of process of elimination. Vocabulary words will focus on understanding meaning using affixes and roots. Math operations and terminology will be introduced and expressing how to solve problems as outlined by most standardized tests will be discussed and implemented.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
All students need to have a paperback Dictionary and a Thesaurus, a math protractor and a ruler along with 2 notebooks.
